IT Consulting

Most small and mid-sized companies do not have a technology problem. They have twelve overlapping subscriptions, no identity strategy, one person who knows where the passwords are, and no tested backup. Fundamentals are boring and they are the entire game.

What's included

The actual scope.

Not every engagement uses every line. We scope to what moves your number and say so when something on this list would be waste.

  • Technology stack audit and license rationalization
  • Identity, single sign-on, MFA and least-privilege access design
  • Endpoint management, patching and device lifecycle
  • Backup and recovery — designed, then actually restore-tested
  • Email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and phishing resistance
  • Vendor selection and contract review support
  • Incident response planning and tabletop exercises

Where we differ

We are not reselling you hardware.

We take no vendor commissions or referral spiffs, which means when we tell you a product is right for you, the only thing behind that recommendation is the recommendation. It also means we will occasionally tell you the best move is to keep what you have and cancel three other things.

Questions

Asked and answered.

Do you replace our MSP?

Usually not. We work alongside your managed services provider on strategy, architecture and project work. If your MSP is the problem, we will say so and help you run a replacement process.
