About

Small on purpose. Deep where it counts.

Most firms that can run your ad account cannot build your software, and most firms that can build your software have no idea how you get customers. Sitting on both sides of that line is the whole point — the seam between marketing and operations is where the value leaks out, and there is no seam here.

The premise

Why this exists.

There are two failure modes in this market and we have watched both up close. The first is the traditional marketing shop: competent at channels, entirely unequipped when the problem turns out to be the intake process, the CRM, or a website built on a page builder that cannot be made fast. They hand you a report and a shrug.

The second is newer and louder. Someone who learned a stack of connected tools six months ago, selling automation as though the hard part were the wiring. It is not. The hard part is knowing which processes should exist, what happens when the system is confidently wrong, and who owns it in month nine. That takes having run something.

We built this to sit between them. Enough operating experience to know which problems are worth solving, enough engineering depth to actually solve them, and small enough that you talk to the people doing the work.

Everything is moving fast right now, and the honest read is that this makes fundamentals more valuable, not less. When average output costs nothing and there is an infinite supply of it, the businesses that are fast, legible, well-structured and genuinely useful stand out more sharply than they did five years ago. That is the whole thesis.

What we hold to

Six things, stated plainly.

  • Say the expensive thing

The recommendation that costs us revenue this quarter is usually the one that earns the account for years. We would rather lose a proposal than win one we do not believe in.

  • Ownership, not leverage

Your accounts, your repository, your data, in your name, from day one. We do not hold logins hostage. A client who has to stay is not a client.

  • Depth over breadth

Two people who have done the work, not eight who have been briefed on it. When the account manager and the engineer are the same conversation, nothing gets lost in translation.

  • Enterprise where enterprise wins

We are not romantic about custom software. A vendor with a security team and a roadmap beats our code more often than the market admits, and we will tell you when.

  • Fundamentals compound

Speed, hierarchy, clean data, clear ownership. None of it demos well and all of it decides outcomes. Fashion is depreciating; fundamentals are not.

  • Local, seriously

Ohio and the Midwest. We would rather be the firm that shows up on the job site than the one that has never seen the building.

The team

Two people. Both of them do the work.

  • Founder

    Strategy, advertising, brand

Runs the demand side and the client relationship. Background in operating businesses rather than in agency account management, which is the difference between a report and a recommendation.

  • Co-founder

    Full-stack engineering, systems, security

Runs the build side. Full-stack across web, mobile and infrastructure, with the compliance and architecture depth that lets us take engagements most shops our size have to decline.

Names and portraits pending.
