Everyone gets in.

We are building to WCAG 2.2 Level AA and we are not there yet. Below is what we have done, what is still open, and the date we last checked. We would rather publish an honest status than a badge.

Conformance target

Target: WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Current status: partial conformance — see known limitations. Last reviewed: August 2026.

We test with keyboard-only navigation, computed contrast ratios rather than estimates, and manual review of focus order and heading structure.

What is in place today

  • Semantic headings in a real hierarchy, not styled text
  • Visible focus indication on every interactive element, never removed
  • A skip link to main content that moves focus, not just scroll position
  • Motion that respects the reduced-motion preference throughout
  • Text contrast at or above 4.5:1 on all body and interface text
  • Form fields with visible labels, inline errors, and autocomplete hints
  • Navigation that works with JavaScript disabled

Known limitations

We publish these rather than wait until the list is empty:

  • The technology marquee scrolls continuously and can currently only be paused by hovering it, which does not help keyboard or touch users. A pause control is the next accessibility item we are shipping. (WCAG 2.2.2)
  • Some secondary links do not yet reach a 44 by 44 pixel target, though all meet the 24 by 24 minimum. (WCAG 2.5.8)
  • Third-party embeds, where used, may not meet the same standard. We avoid them where possible and disclose them where not.
